We’re excited to welcome Paula Date as the newest member of the McKinney Economic Development Corporation team!

Paula brings with her more than 10 years of economic development experience from her time with the City of Plano, where she led initiatives in incentive compliance, project management, economic agreements, and data-driven analysis. Prior to that, she spent 12 years in the financial industry with JPMorgan Chase, sharpening her skills in client engagement, financial operations, and strategic planning.

In addition to her impressive professional background, Paula has also worked for over 15 years as a language and cultural consultant, helping Brazilian and American expats navigate transitions across cultures and languages.

With her unique blend of public- and private-sector experience, Paula is known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach and commitment to sustainable growth. She’s passionate about driving meaningful economic opportunity while keeping community well-being at the heart of every project.
