Media X Partners / rikodi Announces Selection As Recipient of McKinney Innovation Fund Grant

 

October 24, 2023 (McKinney, TX) – Media X Partners, Inc. dba rikodi is proud to announce it has been selected to receive a $50,000 non-dilutive grant from the Innovation Fund managed by the McKinney (TX) Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).

The MEDC launched the fund in 2020 as a part of a larger strategy to attract startups with high-growth potential and diversify the city’s innovation ecosystem. It offers businesses several grant options to help startups recruit talent, expand business and increase skills development, among other opportunities.

The company’s first product is rikodi, a multi-tenant SaaS platform that’s designed to maximize the value of fan relationships for sports teams, athletes, and entertainers. The focus is on fan-centric content creation that can help clients generate longer engagement, a deeper understanding of their fan base while creating new sources of revenue. Media X/rikodi joins other sports-tech related companies with their base in McKinney including in-seat delivery service Stadium Drop, live-streaming platform Snipitz and athlete training platform Tully.
