Globe Life Inc. has announced plans to relocate its headquarters to a newly acquired office building in McKinney, Texas, with the move set to begin in September and continue through the end of the year. The insurance company, which currently employs over 3,000 staff at its existing headquarters, will transition to a six-story, 200,000-square-foot facility at 7677 Henneman Way, previously part of the Independent Bank campus. The acquisition from SouthState Corp. aligns with Globe Life’s strategy to modernize its workspace and support future growth.
The new headquarters will feature amenities such as a fitness center, food and beverage options, and a conference center capable of accommodating 350 people. Globe Life’s recent financial performance includes $29.1 billion in assets and $5.8 billion in revenue for 2024, positioning it at No. 595 on the Fortune 1000 list. The move is significant not only for Globe Life’s operational strategy but also for the broader commercial development landscape in McKinney, a rapidly growing area within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
