The McKinney Economic Development Corporation welcomes Mike Wilkes as the newest Project Manager. Wilkes will work directly with the MEDC’s Innovation Fund, and assist in attraction and screening of new applicants. He previously worked with the North Texas Angel Network, focusing on entrepreneur relations, and public speaking engagements.
Wilkes is a recent graduate from Texas A&M University, where he majored in leadership and business. Prior to attending university, Mike spent 4 years as a Squad Leader in the Marine Corps and was awarded on two occasions for leadership across deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, the SW border, and the United Arab Emirates.
