 $919 million advanced manufacturing investment conducts ceremonial groundbreaking, bringing 600+ jobs to McKinney

MCKINNEY, TEXAS – LITEON Technology Corp. (TWSE: 2301), a global leader in power management and AI infrastructure solutions, marked the official start of buildout today on its new North American advanced manufacturing campus in McKinney. Company executives were joined by leaders from the City of McKinney and the McKinney Economic Development Corporation to celebrate the next phase of one of the largest private investments in the city’s history.

Announced earlier this year, the $919 million project is expected to create at least 600 new, high-quality permanent jobs in McKinney. The company has already purchased two existing buildings totaling more than 650,000 square feet in the Core5 Logistics Center and is now commencing the extensive buildout and installation of specialized equipment necessary to transform the facilities into a state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing campus.  The McKinney campus will support advanced manufacturing, engineering, and research operations.

The morning program included a traditional Taiwanese blessing ceremony, a custom that expresses hopes for a safe construction period and a successful future for the project. LITEON representatives were joined by McKinney leaders in the offering, a gesture of shared respect and partnership between the company and community as LITEON establishes its future in McKinney.
