McKINNEY, Texas (Feb. 24, 2020) – The McKinney Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is proud to announce the winners of its 2020 business awards presented at the annual McKinney Chamber of Commerce Community Awards. This year, MEDC selected Dynacraft as the recipient of its Corporate Performance Award and Independent Financial as the recipient of the Business Retention and Expansion Program Encore Wire Award.

Corporate Performance Award

The Corporate Performance Award is presented to a new McKinney company that demonstrates unique attributes that positively impact the quality of life in the community.

Dynacraft has an aggressive growth strategy over the next few years to add additional product lines to the McKinney facility and partner with the city and MEDC to support that growth.

“The MEDC was very helpful throughout the process of site selection, construction, and commissioning of our excellent McKinney facility,” said Paul McCormick, Dynacraft General Manager. Dynacraft supports nine product lines and employs 300 associates at its McKinney facility. “With the relocation of our division office in May, we reinforced our commitment to continued growth in McKinney.”

“MEDC is proud to honor PACCAR’s Dynacraft Division this year. General Manager Paul McCormick and his leadership team bring advanced manufacturing opportunities to our City in a state of the art facility. They are leaders in their industries and communities,” said MEDC Chairman Ken Sipiora.

Dynacraft is a division of PACCAR, a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high-quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.
